The Investor Residence Program is designed to attract new investment, create opportunities and protect the integrity of Belize’s immigration system.
Applicants must make a minimum investment of $500,000 and spend a total of 12 months in Belize over a three year period.
Similar investor residence programs have contributed to economic activity in countries across the Caribbean.
The proposed framework also includes safeguards. Investor status can be revoked if an applicant provides false information or fails to meet the required conditions.
