Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration
At a brief ceremony held on Thursday, 10th June 2021 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration in Belmopan, H.E. David Kuan-Chou Chien, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, handed over a donation of 5,000 face masks and 500 isolation gowns to Hon. Ramon Cervantes, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration. The donation will be used by officers of the Border Management and Immigration Services Department and the Nationality and Passports Department.
Witness at the handing over was Mrs. Debra Estrada, Director of Border Management and Immigration Services.
The Ministry thanks our strategic partner, the Embassy of Taiwan in continuously working with us to become a modern, proficient, Immigration organization which contributes to the sustainable development of Belize by providing world class border protection and travel facilitation services.
