How To Apply?

Determine Your Elegibility

Determine if you are eligible to apply for Amnesty.

Gather all the general required documents.

Gather all the support documents specific to the amnesty criteria you are applying

Online Appointment

You will be required to make an appointment for  any of our 18 offices that will be located all over Belize.

The Registration Period is from 2nd August to 30 November, 2022.

Make An Appointment

Submit Application

Present yourself on the date and time at the office you selected during your appointment.

An interview will be conducted  at the time of submission.

All documents will be scanned and original documents returned to you.

You will be given an official receipt to prove you have submitted an amnesty application.

Police Interview

The police will visit you at the your home address and conduct an interview.

Approval

Step 5

You can verify your progress at status.immigration.gov.bz or by scanning the QR code on your receipt.

Once the application has been approved you need to visit your nearest immigration office and make payment.

Payment

Step 6

You need to visit the immigration office to receive confirmation of approval

With confirmation of approval proceed to make payment and submit prove of payment at any of the immigration offices.

Permanent Residence Card

You will be given a Permanent Residence Card to show your legal status in Belize.
